Job Description

• Primary Responsibilities :
  
•  Drive cost saving projects through improve and qualify low cost BOM (Bill of Material), new cost effective factory supplies
  
• and indirect materials.
  
•  Manage open short test performance improvement activities. To lead and provide solution to customers on technical
  
• difficulties and new technology challenges.
  
•  Delivers yield analysis, control solution & detail analysis to assembly process engineering on periodic basis.
  
•  Define BKM and SOP for sustainable process engineering. Focus in PCS, comparative & preventing engineering.
  
•  Cultivate engineering step functional improvement for quality, reliability & yield targets, and status-quo challenges.
  
•  Define and refine process design rules; manage new products from development to qualification to production Ramp.
  
• Manage technology/knowledge transfer from ASE sister plants & customer sites to ASE Malaysia. Drive High Volume
  
• Manufacturing (HVM) friendliness, ensure flawless technology/products start up & meet market demand with minimum
  
• duration.
  
•  Drive equipment capability, upgrade, reusability, sustainability & stability.
  
•  Lead in knowledge guru programs, to up-skill workforce productivity & agility. Enabled in-house spare and electronic
  
• board repair and equipment refurbishment workshop.
  
•  In charge of customer accounts to provide technical solution, business review, calibrate new products & technology
  
• road-map. Review with customer regularly to provide latest company capability & direction
  
•  Provide cost down projects & explore new cost reduction opportunities to maintain company competitiveness
  
•  Equipment automation drives for head reduction and implement less human dependent process. Includes auto gate
  
• vision inspection, assembly open/short tester, process step simplification, snap over cure etc
  
•  Drive improvement on equipment efficiency, indicators include MTBA, MTBF, MTTR, MTTA, machine OEE and
  
• utilization.
  
•  Any other duties assigned from time to time.
